The Dubois Dodine collection is a bi-product of the Dodine, a hand made rocking chair made of found materials in Haiti, designed by Jolibois Dubois, my grandfather. Revive, recycle and rewrite is the motif of the collection, legacies passing on and repeating. To emulate the continuing of a legacy, triangles are used as a motif is used throughout the collection. Using found materials from old Dodine’s and my love for accessories I created pieces to revive and recycle the bi-products of the Dodine.
