Historically, Black women have been demonized for their bodies. In astro-physics, a Black Body is a hypothetical perfect absorber and radiator of energy with no reflecting power. This astro-physics term beautifully defines Black women within society. Black women absorb the criticism of society, emotions and natural tribulations. This collection reflects what is physically unique and beautiful about the Black female form and gives reflecting power to all women who wear it, sharing the beauty of the Black woman’s form with all women. In the end, all sensual and unique parts of the female form are accentuated, celebrated and curves are given to those without.
